The complete beginner's guide to surviving the Hadal Blacksite. Learn the core gameplay loop, controls, entity evasion basics, and shopping strategies.
Pressure is a roguelite survival horror game on Roblox, developed by Urbanshade: Hadal Division (led by creator Zeal). You play as an Expendable — a prisoner offered a pardon in exchange for descending into the Hadal Blacksite, a deep-sea research facility, to retrieve a Crystal.
The game is inspired by DOORS, Iron Lung, ULTRAKILL, and SCP: Containment Breach. Each run generates a unique facility layout with 100 numbered rooms filled with hostile entities, environmental hazards, locked doors, and limited resources.
Before entering the Blacksite, spend Kroner on essential supplies. Prioritize: Standard Flashlight → Batteries → Code Breacher. Rebuy Spr-INT only after unlocking "I'm Outta Here!" badge.
Progress through rooms sequentially. Find keycards for locked doors, or use Code Breachers to bypass them. Keep your flashlight active but conserve batteries — you have 100 rooms to survive.
When lights flicker or you hear approaching audio: immediately hide in a locker. Different entities have different telegraph signals — learn them from our Entity Database.
Around room 50, you'll encounter Sebastian's Shop. Spend accumulated Kroner on high-tier light sources and Code Breachers for The Ridge. Do NOT flash Sebastian with a Flash Beacon — he becomes hostile.
The final sector is the hardest. Entity density spikes, locked doors multiply, and Squiddles patrol dark areas. Code Breachers are critical here.
Retrieve the Crystal, survive the extraction gauntlet, and reach the final airlock. Congratulations — you've beaten Pressure! Or... continue into Endless Mode for infinite difficulty scaling.
When lights flicker, immediately find the nearest locker and get inside. Stay hidden until you hear the entity pass and the audio fades completely.

The Lethality Buffer System prevents one-shot kills. When damage exceeds remaining HP, you're set to 1 HP instead of dying outright — but only once per damage source. A second hit at 1 HP is always fatal. Use our Health Calculator for precise survival math.
