Health Mechanics in Pressure
Pressure uses a 100 HP health pool with a Lethality Buffer System. When damage would reduce HP below 0, you're instead set to 1 HP â but only once per damage source. A second hit at 1 HP is always fatal. Understanding this system is crucial for high-modifier runs.
Below 20 HP, you enter Critical Injury state: visual distortion increases, but passive regeneration kicks in at 1 HP per second. This means with 20 seconds of safety, you can regenerate from near-death to a stable 20 HP without any healing items.
Spr-INT Safety Check
The Spr-INT syringe costs 2 HP to use. If your HP is at or below 21, using Spr-INT drops you to 19 HP or lower â entering critical injury state. At exactly 2 HP, using Spr-INT is often fatal due to the 1 HP lethality buffer being your only protection. Always check the calculator before injecting.
